Fibre Art... Naturally

Call for Submissions

The Fibre Arts Network (FAN) is hosting an Exhibition at the UNB Art Centre called "Fibre Art... Naturally" from March 12th - April 30, 2010.

The Fibre Arts Network is coordinating an exhibition to be held at the University of New Brunswick Art Centre in 2010. This exhibition will feature fibre art and textiles using all natural materials to celebrate the 2009 International Year of Natural Fibres.

We are inviting submissions to be sent by February 15^th, 2010. Individuals can submit up to 5 items (unless items are quite small and are done in a "series"). All items must be made from 100% natural materials. Note: if you have submissions that may not be ready on February 15th, please let FAN know).  

Note: there is no submission fee, but entrants are encouraged join the Fibre Arts Network (FAN) at a cost of $20 per year (student membership is $10 per year).

A selection committee will be established for the exhibition.

The opening will be held at the UNB Art Centre on March 12^th from 5pm – 7pm.
