Mark Kalous

Mark Kalous was raised in Toronto and attended the University of Waterloo where he obtained an Honours degree in Biology, specializing in Biotechnology and Genetics. He has worked in a variety of industries and disciplines including biotechnology research for Forestry Canada, manufacturing panel products, the food industry and telecommunications. Mark was first trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt at Temple Inc. in 2001 and has been active in the discipline since leading productivity improvements as a Black Belt, Master Black Belt and Deployment Leader (Champion). Mark joined Bell Aliant as the Deployment Leader for Lean Six Sigma in 2008.
